In Ferrolterra, lovers of mountain biking will be delighted to discover culture, nature and gastronomy as they ride through seven routes designed for us to enjoy. In Esmelle, you will find the mountain biking centre offering seven circular routes marked with buoys to indicate the level of difficulty. These routes run along the coast and valleys and lead to places of interest such as Cabo Prior and its crevices, the beaches of Doniños, San Xurxo, Ponzos and Santa Comba, the castle of San Felipe, the mills, the restored ancient lavatories of San Xoan de Esmelle or the sanctuary of Chamorro (16th century). It is a route of just over 10 km and without great unevenness, except for a small climb after the beach of San Xurxo. It runs on asphalt and dirt tracks, it can be done both on foot and by mountain bike.
