Doniños
Doniños is an impressive straight beach with magnificent white sand, known for its diverse, high-quality peaks throughout the year. This valuable dune environment also has a coastal lagoon, offering spectacular natural scenery.
Surf Conditions
Tide Conditions: Works well at all tides, although conditions may vary depending on sandbanks and the time of year.
Wave Type: Multiple peaks on both the right and left, with the left predominating. In the Outeiro area, there is a clear channel on the right, close to the rocks.
Swell: Suitable with a swell above 1 metre.
Wind: The best conditions are with north-easterly, northerly or easterly winds.
Water Quality: Excellent.
Water Temperature: Varies between 13°C in winter and 18°C in summer.
Infrastructure and Services
Access: Easy access by car, with parking at both ends of the beach. Disabled access available.
Safety: Safe beach for surfers, with lifeguards on duty during the high season.
Services Available: Beach bars, bars, showers, litter bins and first aid and rescue station. There is also a children's play area and a promenade.

Natural Environment: The beach is surrounded by dunes and a lagoon and is part of an area of great natural value. There are also archaeological remains and old artillery batteries in the area.
