CAMIÑO DO MAR

CAMIÑO DO MAR

This coastal route offers stunning landscapes and rich heritage, featuring historic sites like the Chapel of San Pedro and the unique Senra Tide Mill.

The Camino del Mar (Sea Route) leading to Santo André de Teixido is a variant of the Northern Route to Santiago de Compostela. Although it begins in Ribadeo and runs through various coastal towns in the Mariña Lucense region, it enters the Ferrolterra Rías Altas Destination via the inland municipality of Mañón. It's a route that offers both heritage and scenic attractions. Along the way, we'll come across places of special interest such as the Chapel of San Pedro, the Church of San Salvador de Couzadoiro, and the Senra Tidal Mill, an old mill built in 1910 that used the tides to grind grain. Later, we'll enter the Ortigueira and Ladrido Estuary to once again follow inland paths to Santo André.
