O POTE ASSOCIATION: DANCE FLOOR

This vibrant location features native trees and hosts a unique gastronomic festival, celebrating local culture with distinctive blue and white decor.

[1927] It was created on the initiative of the O Pote Society of Friends of Trees, founded in 1926, to build an area for nature, with specimens of autochthonous trees, and for the celebration of parish festivals. Among its promoters were many emigrants living in Cuba. In 1933 they created the Romaría do Pote, the first gastronomic festival without religious connotations in the whole region. The stage, as well as the lighting pole and the ornaments have the colours white and blue, like the Galician flag and very typical of Indian architecture.
