[1915] Modernism This educational group was founded in Havana in 1911 by a group of emigrants from San Vicente de Caamouco. Soon after, they created a delegation in this parish, presided over by Nicolás Noche Castro, one of the driving forces behind the construction of the A Tenencia school, inaugurated in 1915. It was built by the master builder José Calvo. It is a unique building that stands out for its architectural harmony. It had two classrooms, separated by a central corridor, with a bathroom in each. It also had large garden areas for various sports and leisure activities.
