[1909] Eclecticism It was founded by the Alianza Aresana de Instrucción in Havana (Cuba) in 1904, at 148 Industria Street, house of Domingo Troche, becoming the pioneer of all the micro-territorial community organisations that later emerged in many places in Galicia. With the plans sent from Havana, it opened the first pavilion of the O Porto school group in 1909, intended exclusively for children. In 1911 it was enclosed by a stone wall with an iron grille, from which the pilasters supporting the entrance gate protrude. Agustín Bendamio Leiro provided most of the money for the central pavilion, which was inaugurated in 1936.
